📝 Writing - Message Structure
Start from the big picture. Explain the conclusion and why the reader should care about it. Then go into the details.
Split your message. If you cannot explain a section in 10 words, it is not focused enough. Consider splitting it to separate articles or chapters.

Use media to break up all heavy content. It's demotivating to see a page with just text. Add images, charts, lists and tables to lighten up the reading experience.
Use media to enforce your message. Use images and videos if they help you to deliver your message. People remember better what they see than what they read. Related to graphic design.
Write short paragraphs. They are faster to read and understand. A good starting point is to have between 250 and 400 characters per paragraph. Five visible lines is a good paragraph length. An optimal sentence is from 7 to 10 words.
Use mini sentences for impact. Watch out for overusing this pattern.

Use repetition with care. Reading the same thing over and over again is annoying. Repetition can help to solidify your point but use duplicate words sparingly. You can repeat your message in different words to make it clearer. Short sentences work well with repetition, but don't use them all the time.
