The golden ratio is 1:17. For each 1 gram of coffee grounds for each 17 ml of water.
1 g = 17 ml
6 g = 1.02 dl
12 g = 2.04 dl
30 g = 5.10 dl
60 g = 1.02 l
Moccamaster measuring spoon holds 12 g of coffee. Thus, it takes exactly as many spoonfuls of coffee grounds as there is the "cups" (1.25 dl) count on the water reservoir to make a standard strong coffee.
8 cups = 1 liter of water 8 spoons = 96 grams of coffee grounds = strong coffee 5 spoons = 60 grams of coffee grounds = light coffee
